Building with Books

This was me learning HTML and CSS - from, "what's a tag/selector?" to "I'd do this on my free time". It's dated, but I still like this site, and it is the most code-efficient, well-documented and meticulously researched creation from a code perspective (just have a look at the source).

It is a simple, static design from 2011 but the thoughtful marriage of the message content and aesthetic visuals together with the attention to detail help this site to age well. It demonstrates rock solid fundamentals in web-page creation and also included a full site brief, wireframes and multiple revisions.
